Based on the above comparison, Brightlaser provides device packaged with VCSEL and micro-optical elements, which can match camera lens’ FOV, with low-loss optical power, improved product reliability. The image on the far left is the substrate, by mounting VCSEL laser diode on the AIN substrate or the Cu/Ag substrate helps it to dissipate heat, then use substrate, thermal conductive gel, and heat sink/metal shell to maintain good heat transfer. A micro-optic component that can stand a reflow soldering of above 260℃ is implemented on the VCSEL laser diode, which can be used to evenly distribute beam divergence and light intensity, hence realizing a lighting source of low volume. Brightlaser offers a singular VCSEL+ micro-optic component that has low volume (height 1.4mm), high efficiency, even distribution of light intensity, good monochromacy, saving both energy and space, which largely lowers the cost for our customers.

As shown in the schematics, VCSEL laser Chip is placed on an aluminum nitride (AlN) substrate or a copper / silver-plated (Cu / Ag) substrate, which helps to dissipate heat. VCSEL diode packaged with micro-optical components can achieve a uniform distribution of light angle and light intensity. Brightlaser VCSEL + micro-optical element is compact, small size (height 1.4mm), high efficiency, good monochromaticity, lower power consumption, and cost-effective. It is ideal illumination light source.

Case Study
照射距离超过3m,测试距离达到1.9m(客户要求1.5m左右),摄像机镜头焦距4mm,视场角70°x40°,采用72°x58°的VCSEL二极管,光功率200mW,人脸识别效果好。从下图可以看出,人脸的轮廓非常清晰,人脸边缘锐利。
